This original painting is part of a series titled ‘Hackney Surfaces’. An ongoing project that began last year.
The inspiration behind these paintings is the colliding colours and textures of the area I live in. These urban spaces contain a myriad of overlapping colours and objects creating a ongoing visual display that changes over time and provides new and exciting combinations to use as the source of my painting.
